Speaker | Author | School Mental Health Consultant

Charle Peck is the co-creator of Thriving School Community, a revolutionary program designed for schools to improve the mental health of staff and students. 

She holds an MS in Education and an MS in Social Work as a 20+ year veteran in education (K-12). As a global keynote speaker, she delivers powerful messages of hope to educators and equips educators and mental health team members with tools that integrate into everyday practice. 

Her unique lens as a high school teacher turned clinical therapist who has worked closely with adolescents and families in crisis makes her stories relevant and captivating to those struggling in today’s education system.

Dr. Cameron Caswell

Adolescent Psychologist | Parenting Coach / TEDx Speaker

CAMERON (DR. CAM) CASWELL, PHD, "The Teen Translator,” is the co-creator of Thriving School Community, a revolutionary program designed for schools to improve the mental health of staff, students and caregivers within the school system.

As a TEDX speaker, podcast host, author, and private practitioner she empowers parents and teens with the tools and knowledge they need to create positive, peaceful relationships with one another.

Dr. Cam speaks regularly at schools, national organizations, and conferences. She has also been featured as a parenting expert on television, radio, podcasts, and in publications including Fox News, Newsweek, Grown & Flown, and HerMoney.

Dr. Cam is a mom of a teen too, so she not only talks the talk, she walks the walk.

Jennifer B. Bienstock, Psy.D.

Director of Clinical Training

Dr. Bienstock is a licensed psychologist and the Director of Clinical Training at the Center for Anxiety & Behavioral Change in Rockville, MD. 

Dr. Bienstock works with individuals and families across the lifespan using evidence-based approaches. She has clinical expertise treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, school refusal, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).
Dr. Julie Schmidt Hasson

Professor, Researcher

Dr. Hasson is a professor in School Administration at Appalachian State University.  

Julie’s research on long-term teacher impact is the foundation of her books, professional development programs, and TEDx Talk. 

Her latest book, Pause, Ponder, and Persist in the Classroom: How Teachers Turn Challenges into Opportunities for Impact, was released in June 2023. 
Dr. Rebecca Heiss

Stress Physiologist

As an evolutionary biologist and stress expert, Dr. Rebecca Heiss is dedicated to helping us become self-aware and overcome our instinctual limitations. Her research has been designated “transformative” by the National Science Foundation. 

A former educator, Dr. Heiss spent much of her earlier career in the classroom at both the high school and college levels and was recruited to be a founding member of an innovative charter school with a focus on entrepreneurial thinking and impact-based learning. 
Crystal Leugers, LCSW

Chief Programming Officer 

Crystal obtained her Bachelor’s in Social Work of Xavier University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Supervisor Designation in both Kentucky and Ohio.

Crystal is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seven Challenges and has completed the Juvenile Sexual Offender Certification Program. She also provides Clinical Supervision to fellow Social Workers.

Brooklyn Raney

Founder of One Trusted Adult

Author of One Trusted Adult: How to Build Strong Connections & Healthy Boundaries with Young People. 

After working in schools for more than a decade, she founded One Trusted Adult, a company through which she has spent the past five years working with youth-serving professionals, parents, and guardians to develop strategies for strengthening relationships in homes, schools, and communities so they can best support the positive development of youth.
Laura Rizo

Social-emotional Learning 

Born and raised in the projects, Rizo's life experiences relate to both youth and adults. A former teacher and school counselor, her passion lies in fostering a nurturing environment where both students and educators can thrive emotionally and intellectually.

Ofosu Jones-Quartey is a meditation teacher, and musician from the Washington DC area.
